Welcome Harvard and Ivy+ alumni to a community service project opportunity.  We are partnering with the Truckee River Watershed Council and NTHS Fly Fishing Club on a restoration project on the 28th Truckee River Day: Sunday, October 15th. Join us at Donner Lake Lagoon to plant willows and build willow wattles to help protect the streambank as part of a larger restoration.  Due to past Truckee River Day efforts, volunteers have had significant positive impacts on the wetland habitat for the improvement of wildlife and the enjoyment of our outdoor community, and we expect this day to be highly impactful as well.  We'll be working in partnership with CA State Parks for this specific project.  Family members are invited to participate.
