Join us for the second annual Harvard Club Tahoe Ski Day at Palisades Tahoe on Saturday, January 20, 2024. The day will include an informal breakfast gathering before skiing, a full day on the slopes, apres ski, and an optional dinner event.

Join the Harvard Clubs throughout Northern California & Northern Nevada for a joint ski day at Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley Ski Resort: https://www.palisadestahoe.com). Often voted one of North America's best ski resorts, Palisades Tahoe is known for its world-class terrain, vibrant ski culture, and Olympic heritage as host of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games.
We will meet up on Saturday morning, January 20th, at a cafe at the mountain before the lifts open to meet others in the group and find people of the same ability level to ski together. We will then divide into groups (beginners, intermediate, advanced) to ski for the morning and meet up for lunch at Gold Coast Lodge. We'll divide into groups again for the afternoon to ski. Happy hour apres ski can begin as early as you like at the lodge at the base of the mountain, followed by optional small group dinners. Bring your family and encourage your friends to sign up for a fun day of skiing together!
Breakfast: buy-your-own and sit with the group at the mountain
Lunch: buy-your-own and sit with the group at the mountain
Dinner: pre-arranged reservations at local Truckee restaurants, with separate checks for each party
Cost: $10 to participate (not including lift tickets/ rentals/ accommodations/ meals). This minimal fee helps fund our support staff to organize and manage the event.
Palisades Tahoe Lift Tickets: pre-arranged through the group. A regular full price adult single day weekend lift ticket is $279, however we have arranged a group rate of $209. Discounts are available for child and teen lift tickets, rental equipment, snow tubing and more as well. Must pay for lift ticket and any items with group discount at time of registration. If you already have a Palisades Tahoe pass or an Ikon pass and would like to register for this event, simply check the box for the $10 registration to participate.
Lodging: not included. Participants must arrange their own lodging. Email us at hcnnevada@gmail.com if you would like a list of local accommodations that you might try.
Must register by January 6th. Please be mindful that winter conditions cannot be anticipated, and we cannot allow late cancellations within 2 weeks of the event. See below for full list of discounted group rates and email us at hcnnevada@gmail.com with any questions about the event.

Grab 4 of your friends & ski the mountain like a local. 6,000 acres holds a lot of secrets. You won’t have to spend days trying to find them on your own. Our professional guides will sneak you to the best snow we have based on daily conditions. Skip the lift lines & ski our best terrain on repeat. Our world class instructors will be sure to give you technique pointers along the way. Does not include lift ticket/ rentals. Morning $730. Afternoon $548.

Dinner:
For Saturday night dinner reservations during peak ski season local area restaurants all require a $10 per person non-refundable reservation fee. We require this fee at the time of reservation if you choose to attend one of our dinners, and this fee cannot be refunded if you choose to cancel. The $10 will be applied towards your check when you attend the dinner. Please register early, the dinners fill up quickly!
Registration for Harvard Club Tahoe Ski Day is due by January 6th, 2024. Cancellations will be refunded in full minus credit card processing fees if cancelled by January 6th. Please be mindful that winter conditions cannot be anticipated, and we cannot allow late cancellations within 2 weeks of the event. No refunds will be made for cancellations after January 6th.
