About Classical Tahoe: Each summer, Classical Tahoe brings together America’s leading classical musicians for a 16-concert series that delights audiences with its superb musicians, intimate al fresco pavilions, educational programs, and majestic Lake Tahoe settings. The orchestra is made up of the best musicians (often the principal musician) from the top orchestras in the country – MET Opera Orchestra, LA Phil, NY Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Toronto Symphony and more. The concerts are set in an outdoor pavillion amongst the trees at the UNR campus in Incline Village. Compare this to Tanglewood in New York, but far, far more intimate.
